Halloween Day!!!

Well Nate and I were really boring for Halloween.. We didn't look for outfits or even plan on handing out candy until we got off work today.. We went and got cool candy and Nate got a wig because he decided last minute that he wanted to dress up as a girl!!! hahaha We rushed home and Nate gave Nick a hair cut today!!!

Then Nate decided to dress up and see how it was going to look.. He was up stairs trying to figure out a girly outfit and getting all into it! IT was pretty funny ahaha I laughed so hard when he came down stairs in this!!!

Nathans Halloween Costume 2011!

Nick and I were dying... We were laughing so so hard.. Oh my goodness.. any who.. I made Chicken Enchiladas for dinner... We had Nick and Kyle come over and help us eat them all also...  

Later, the Merrill's came over and showed us the kids outfits! they were so so cute I can't wait til I can do that! Overall it was a fun Halloween night and we are off to bed now! Goodnight Logan!!!

St. George!!!

This past weekend we went down to visit family in St. George. The week before we left.. I started talking to Sydney Galbraith again and I got her and Jared talking! I was kinda nervous about them meeting and talking but I was also so excited!  During that week, I invited Sydney to come down and meet Jared and also Meet the Family! She said yes and Her family was super excited for her to come down also! We were so so excited... planning all these cool things to do and ya! Once we got down there we met the family at Mikes football game and Desert Hill played Park City.  Luckily we won and that means are in second rounds of playoffs. After the game, Sydney, Jared, Nate and I went to the store to get some food and Moki made us the most amazing spinach mushroom tomato and sausage Alfredo pasta... IT was SO SO GOOD!!! The next day,  Sydney Jared Nate and I went to Cafe Rio and met Trevor and Katelyn and had a good lunch.

 Nate and I went to CFC Fights Saturday night! They were awesome.. We sat with his coaches and had an amazing time. I actually saw someone I knew... Omar.. Weird huh.. he told me to come see his clothing line that he sells at fights.. So Nate and I went over there and Omar was super nice and hooked us up with a hat for Nate and a cute shirt for me! Nate's hat is Black with Blue writing and my shirt is White with Purple writing.  Super cute!

The Main Event... Jarad ( White one ) during the match, his shoulder popped out and he was no longer able to fight... The Black guy held his hand up and had everyone clap for him because he felt that Jarad was the winner and they he needed to be recognized also.. Very Classy!!!

We then went home and watched Red Riding Hood with Christina and Grant and then we carved pumpkins with KK and Dillon!

Sunday Sydney woke up and came to church with us.. Jared was lame and slept... when we went home, we had chili and had a good family dinner. Nate took a nap and we all watched some TV and rested.. Sydney Nate and I left about 430 to go home and Nate slept half the way home.. Sydney and I had a good talk  

and then we stopped and visited Pete, Courtney, Nick, Riley, and Mattex! It was the coolest thing ever and Riley was amazing! haha We then dropped Sydney off home and then Nate and I booked it home so that we could go to bed and then we passed out!!  Amazing Trip and So SO Much fun!!!

USU vs LaTech

Well sadly enough for the LaTech game Christina and Grant missed their flight up here so they were not able to make it to the game! But Sarah Robert Nasse Anna and Marlee were able to come up along with my mom Grandma and Grandpa...

As you can tell... Mom is Loving having a little one around!!! hahaha the game was so so fun! Le met us for lunch at Cafe Rio.. and then we went and had some fun at the game!

Sadly enough we lost the game...  24-17.. During the game.. Nate got tackled from behind and his shoulder popped out :( Tyler Bennett scared the crap out of me saying that it was really serious and that he might be out for the season... So sad..  but it was perfectly fine and he is just letting it rest now!

After the game.. Nick and Le, Riley and Liz, and Sarah and her family came over for an amazing BBQ that we had... Nate and I marinated the chicken in a Hawaiian teryaki sauce all night and Robert BBQ it and made it amazing! Nick and Le brought amazing potatoes and drinks and a cake... Sarah made some rice also!!!  Nick also proposed to Le...

anywho we had amazing day and ya now we are getting ready to head down to St. George this weekend since we have a bye!!!  SUPER EXCITED!!!! Sydney Galbraith is coming down.. I am trying to hook her up with Jared! so far so good! welp I am leaving!!!! BYE BYE

USU vs Fresno

Well the Fresno game was on October 15, 2011. Utah State went to Fresno and from what I was told, it was pretty Ghetto and gross.  Fortunately I didn't have to go but we did get to see it online! I went down to my moms and had a girls night with some of my best friends!! and I also got to hang out with my mom and sister and go shopping! it was pretty fun! I went home Saturday pretty late so I didn't have to be home by my self..  well I got home and started watching it! Sadly enough we lost 21-31. We did so good until the last little bit.. But NATE did amazing! I waited up for him to get home and then he carried me upstairs like the wonderful husband that he is! We slept til 1230 on Sunday afternoon and just loved life! Welp sorry it is so short!

Pumpkins!

Last night was a very fun and exciting night! Le Vu and Nick Diaz came over and we all got to carve way awesome pumpkins!

As you can tell, Nate was super excited to carve pumpkins.. When we went to the store, He grabbed two of the biggest pumpkins that were out there.. Me, I stuck with a Little tiny one and a Pretty big one! Nick and Le brought over three pumpkins but only carved two of them... Nate decided for his first pumpkin that he would carve the Headless Horse man in to his pumpkin.. It turned out so amazing.. Then he did this cool Welcome on in the other! I did a cool Smiley face and Needhams.. I am not as good as Nate is so don't judge me on my Needham one hahaha.. Le decided to do a cool spider in hers and Nick did 3 ghosts! They all turned out amazing!

After that Nick started trying to make a face that looks like my pumpkin.. We had to try a few times but this is what we came up with!

He is freaking hilarious! :)

Anywho.. as the night went on.. We all started trying to convince Le to Marry Nick.. She wants to but she doesn't want to right now... and nick got down on one knee and faked it and it freaked her out so much.. oh goodness.. So So funny! in the end we didn't convince her to do it earlier but we will keep trying!

USU vs Wyoming

This Saturday we played Wyoming University! Well to start off the week, it was FREEZING up here in Logan. It rained all day every day. It even started snowing up in the mountains.. I was not looking forward to Saturday.. I thought it would be cold, snowing, windy and not enjoyable. We also had all of the Shumway family coming up to watch Nate play.. BLAH.. well Friday night Bree and Cody came up and spent the night with us.. we are kinda lame and just watched a movie.. Nate was sick so he stayed up as long as he could but he took NyQuil and fell right to sleep... We all went up stairs and passed out.. The next morning Nate drove to football practice and Cody, Bree and I watched the Rise of the Planet of the Apes. That is a pretty good movie! kinda slow at first but hey... it is entertaining. Any who, Nate came home for his two hour break, Bree and Cody left and Rachel and Mitch came over with their Nephew Korbin while his parents got their endowments taken out.. Pretty cool day!! Nate then took off for his practice before the game and then Rachel and Mitch also had to leave.. I basically took a nap because I knew that the Needhams would be over and we would stay up pretty late.. My family met me at 430 and we headed up to the game.

We got pretty amazing seats for Nate's game, Christina, Grant, Mike, Ty, Kevin, Ty's Dad, Pete, Courtney, Nick, Riley, Matty, Andy, Dave, Jodi, Kaden, and his friend met us all at the game!! My dad's Dad also came to the game.. It was pretty cool!!! My dad also made us shirts so we all matched!!!

The Night ended up being the best night ever!! The team started off with their version of the Hakka!

That was pretty cool! It wasn't windy, or raining, or snowing! Perfect for an October night!!

The game started and Wyoming got 2 touchdowns in two minutes... It sucked so bad.. BUT it got the team pissed off and we started kicking butt!! well the game went amazingly and we won 63-19! Kinda sad score for Wyoming but we won and we were happy..

Everyone came over to our house and we all ate my moms Pumpkin Brownies with cream cheese frosting and Hot Coco...  It was pretty fun..

Everyone left but Andy, Christina, Grant, Mike and Riley slept at my house.. IT was pretty fun, Riley was liking having my own little girl.. cuddling with me! It was amazing! The next day we all got up and had pancakes and got ready for church... We watched Nate teach in Elders Quorum and then went home and had BBQ chicken and rice and pineapple! IT was a good dinner! Mike Tried on my Cheer outfit!

Well any who they all left, and Nate and I crashed,.. I woke up not feeling the greatest and actually threw up all night and couldn't go to work yesterday :( Nate was amazing and took care of me tho! ;) Today we both felt better but I still can't eat like I used to.. Maybe it will stay this way or maybe it will go back.. WE WILL SEE ;)

USU vs BYU

Well Friday Sep 30, 2011 USU played against BYU! Everyone was really nervous and anxious and excited! We all knew it would be an amazing game considering both teams are playing the same this year. I went down to Ogden Thurs night cuz Nate left for Provo that morning and I did not want to stay up here by myself ha. That night I met up with Michelle and went to Institute and we were able to listen to Bro. Anderson teach again! It was like we were in high school again! I loved it!!! After that we picked Megan up and met Rachel down at Iggys at the Junction! Iggys is amazing and we all loved our food! After that I went home and fell right to sleep cuz it was really late and slept at my moms! When I woke up, Laine and I got ready for the day very slowly! Laine, Taylor, Grandpa, Mom and I went to Lunch at chilies, (another amazing place to eat!) After that I left to go meet my dad in SLC cuz he was going to the game with me! We met at 2 at his work and headed right out! We did not want to mess with Traffic! Luckily we got down there in 45 min. and we had plenty of time to kill before the gates open up! My dad and I went to DQ and got some frozen lemonades which hit the spot ;). during our time at DQ the USU buses drove past and everyone started waving and clapping for them! it was pretty awesome! My dad and I headed over the the gates at 4 and went to go find our seats! the BYU people at the gates were really nice! wanted to know all about Nate and just amazing hosts! My dad and I got pretty good seats! 25th row and in the corner so the sun didn't hit us and awesome view of the field! We sat there for quite awhile listening to really annoying USU fans and just relaxed while watching USU warm up for the big game. People started filling in and we knew that the time was counting down! Christina and Grant met us up at our seats and the game began! well for anyone who didn't watch the game, I AM SORRY! it was seriously one of the most intense games of this season (other then Auburn!) On the first play of the game, Turbin ran the ball all the way down the field and scored the first touchdown of the game! We were all going crazy.. jumping up and down, screaming!! it was so cool! the rest of the game was pretty even! Brady went to tackle some guy and their helmets hit and the stupid ref evicted him in the first part of the game.. I agree with a penalty, but evicted... how lame is that... evicted for the game for helmet to helmet never happens in college ball.. I think that was a little extreme...  Heaps was having some major trouble... and BYU took him out and put in Rylie Nelson. He was so much better then heaps.. unfortunately we didn't play Turbin very much because every teams counts on him playing and knows all of his plays.. and we were not ready for nelson.. We were switching back and forth for awhile on who was ahead and then USU stayed ahead the rest of the game! with 1 min left, we were up by 4.. We were all freaking out.. the game could either stay this way or change very fast and we had the time for it to change.. with 19 seconds left, BYU got a very lucky pass that was tipped and caught in the end zone and they scored..... now they were up by 3..  we had 11 seconds to have a miracle happen... well unfortunately it did not happen and we were all upset! But USU did not have any mistakes in the game and they played their hardest! It was a pretty fair game except when Brady got evicted for helmet to helmet.. They boys were all really sad, and pretty much made all of us cry watching them.. for the most part BYU fans were wonderful.. but there were a few I would have hit with my water bottle if I was close enough and if my dad wasn't telling me to calm down and not feed the fire.. sorry I don't care who you love and support... but you do not go to players after a game and start mocking them and being stupid.. you are just asking to get killed.. any who.. for the most part the game was a very exciting and intense game! Nate did amazing and almost had a huge tackle at the first of the game! I love you so much babe and keep up the good work.

Oh the final score was 27-24 BYU... Funny thing, the papers predicted this same score but USU... Funny how things work!
