USU vs CSU

On Saturday, Utah State played Colorado State for our Homecoming game.. Everyone was tailgating and having a blast! Christina, Grant and Mike came up to meet the coaches and recruiters for USU! They also brought Kalani and Darcy, Kalani's Date!!!!  My mom, dad, Laine and Maddi came up around 5 and met me at the game! Everyone was all pumped up and the team looked amazing! once the game started our team did not look like they were trying their hardest! I know they were themselves but it was not enough! No one was scoring at first but then one would score and then the other would score... By half time it was a very close game! They announced the Homecoming queen and the cheerleaders and band people did some performances.  They team comes back out to warm back up and they didn't really look that pumped... The second half started and all the sudden we hear a thud in the stands... A BAND MEMBER was so excited about something that he was jumping up and down and fell hahaha really sad but super funny at the same time! Some security people had to carry him off the stands and off the field.. SO FUNNY!!!  Any who.. Right before the game ended, Nate got a chance to be in one of the plays after snapping the ball.. He was able to get the ball out of the end zone and right on the one yard line! It was the coolest thing to watch on slow motion! But the game ended and we were tied... We went into overtime and both of us scored.. STILL TIED.. blah blah... Second overtime and CSU scores... Now we have a chance to score also.. Turbin takes it in the first play we were all screaming.. now they had chance to kick it in for one or run it in for two... well we didn't want a third overtime so we decided to run it in.. BAD IDEA.. They stopped us right before the line :( CSU won 35-34.. sad sad game.. the guys were not happy with them selves a lot of them felt like it was their fault that we lost and ya...  Everyone was worried about certain players doing stupid stuff so no one could really enjoy homecoming anymore... Our families went to Wendy's after to try and get our minds off of the game! Kyle and Rachel came with us also.. after that Kyle and Rachel came over to watch a movie and we all ended up talking forever and ever (2:30am) and they went home.. Sunday Kyle and Rachel came to church with us and then dinner at our house.. Kyle made guacamole with 10 avocados hahaha funniest thing..  Nate had practice last night so I was home by myself but he made it up to me when he got home! I have the best husband in the world!!!! SO SO LUCKY!!

FOOTBALL!

Welp, Nate is at football tonight! Every week before the game on Saturday, the football team gets together for a team dinner and also a team movie! They have to be there.... I shouldn't be complaining tho cuz last year, the team had to sleep in the hotel every Friday night on home games.. So at least I get to sleep with him and not be by myself! Nate is the Long snapper on the team.. for those who are like me and have no idea what that is, It is the guy who snaps the ball back on field goals and punts. I had no idea what that was until he told me.. haha I was so confused! His number is 89 so if you ever watch a USU game or come watch one then look for Needham 89!!! Tomorrow is the homecoming game against Colorado State. I hope we win! I will let you all know tomorrow! Last week we played Weber State. 54-17.. I kinda felt bad... The week before that we played Auburn! We lost by 4... such a sad game!!! but at least we kept up with them and showed ESPN who USU was!!  I will let you know how this week goes! The Beginning!

Nate and I met July 18, 2010! We had a mutual friend that Nate was visiting and he called me over to kind of go on a double date! I was very hesitant at first because I didn't know if Nate was a good kid, but our friend reassured me that he was and that I would have fun if i came over! I decided to go but only stay for an hour! When I met up with them, they were swimming and I had just got off from work, so we decided to go to his house and watch a movie.. Nate asked if I wanted to lay down on the couch and cuddle? Of course after looking at his amazing body and smile I laid down with him ;) I can't remember what movie we were watching but it wasn't very entertaining so Nate turned over and used the excuse that he didn't want to watch the movie so he kissed me! Of course I kissed him back I mean come on, have you seen his lips? ;) He then walked me out to my car because I was going to leave and we ended up talking outside for a good hour! Right after we exchanged numbers, he looked at me and said "I don't want anything serious right now!" Welp there goes my shot with him and I figured we would never see each other again! On our way home, I got a text from him and I was pretty excited! On Wednesday, two days later, I was at dinner with my cousin Bree and he asked if he could come down and visit me? At the time he was in Logan, and I was in Layton; about an hour drive! I said yes please and he jumped in his car and come down! We hung out at Bree and Cody's house and played the Wii! That weekend was the 24th of July! He asked what my plans were, I basically told him I would be with my family for a BBQ and a Parade, and he got super excited saying that he wanted to come! Welp Saturday, Nate met my whole family and spent the whole day with us! It was so so FuN!! After that weekend Nate had told me that he wasn't going to ask people on dates but he would go on them if he was asked! hahaha I got him wrapped around my finger just a little more ;) We started hanging out as much as we could! The next weekend Nate asked if I would come to ST. George with him and meet his family! He would pay for me to fly home on Sunday! Welp surprisingly enough my mom let me go and I met his entire family!!! It was a very fun weekend!! After that weekend I knew things would be serious but he needed a little more convincing :( After talking about that weekend he said that he wanted to be with just me! I was super excited! He then started talking to me about marriage in the future! I was excited and scared at the same time! Well we then went ring shopping and I chose three different rings and made him decide!!!! A month and a half went by with no information about marriage!!! Finally September 11, 2010 after his first home game, he pulled me down on the field and proposed!! He had a big sign and the most beautiful ring! We then started getting all the wedding stuff planned and situated! December 28, 2010 Finally came and we got married in the Bountiful Temple and had a reception in Ogden! It was beautiful! We then had to start heading down to ST. George for our open house at his parents house! That was really fun also! We got all of his friends together for new years eve and had a blast! Another Post will be coming soon!! LOVE ALWAYS Morgan!!!
