Last Week of School

Nate's last day of school was today! He was so excited that he called me after his first day and was yelling at the top of his lungs! haha This also means that we have 3 days until we leave for Boise for the bowl game! I am so excited that I just cant Hide it anymore! It is going to be so so fun and we are going to have a blast! Win or Lose USU Aggies did amazing! lets show Ohio who the Aggies are and Win this thing! Love all you guys!

The School introduced the Football team and gave all the Bowl game details during one of the mens Basketball games in half time! The school bought the players each new Letterman Jackets! It was awesome!!!!!!

USU vs New Mexico

So the week of this game, our coaches found out that we were going to the Boise bowl game! and the whole town was so excited especially with it being so close to Logan, that our fans can all come and support our team!

They boys left for New Mexico on Friday Morning and I left for Ogden that night for the Forgotten Carols with my family... The Forgotten Carols was so so amazing just like any other night and Loved it so so much!

That night was not a good night after the game tho.. My baby kitty died that night.. SO SO Sad but the next day I was able to go and watch the game on a crappy channel and they WON AGAIN!!!!!!!!! 24-21..
The team stayed in a castle that reminded Nate of Nacho Libre... And when they got to the field, it was dead and muddy... The tow they were in, made them feel like they were in MEXICO,... bad parts of Mexico and Nate and Hughes and the specialists had lockers by the bathrooms ahha they hated life..  We were the first ones to score.. and we should have scored two other times but they stopped us :( Nate got a huge tackle on  a punt and the guy flew off his feet! That was the highlight of his whole weekend! haha they got home that same night at about 930 pm...  we all went out that night for Pats birthday party and the people were lame so we all left and went to JD's house and that was fun but super crowded so we left and went up to Lloyd's house which was freaking hilarious.. they black guys were playing ping pong and being so so funny.. it was super entertaining.. we did not get home til about 330 in the morning.. yes we were all super tired the next morning!

After church that day, Nate and I went over to Jakki's house and we signed the papers to move into her basement! I am super excited to move and so is Nate!  YAY!!

USU vs Nevada

 K well to start out this post, Let me just tell you that this game was the deciding game on if USU goes to a  bowl game or not... NO PRESSURE BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Mom and Laine and Sydney came up for this game and it was a Beautiful day for a football game.. a little chilly but not too bad! The game started out scary and not too exciting but again our boys just like to make us worry the whole game ;)  Nothing really awesome happened in the game but WE WON!!! 21-17! We were down by 3 and with a few seconds left, Kennedy threw a awesome pass and Austin caught it, in the middle of the air with two defenders on him and we won the game by 4!!! WOOO HOOO! Coach Anderson could not stop smiling from ear to ear and the team poured Gatorade on him... so cold haha So yes we are now going to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise Idaho... on December 17, 2011 at 330 pm...  and they are taking us WIVES!! YAY we leave on Tuesday December 13th and hang out the whole week!

USU vs ISU

Alright... let me start telling you about this crazy weekend.. USU was supposed to leave on Friday afternoon about noon to head up to Moscow Idaho..  for those who are like me and had no idea where that was... it is in the tip of Idaho.. Well a snow storm was coming in and they couldn't take off at first because of the fog..  so then they had to wait a while. That night, I headed down to SLC with Michelle Kriger to watch Mike play in the final State game against Hurricane High.. By the time I had arrived at the game ( Around 630) They had not left Logan yet.. now the Plane is not starting... so they decided to wait again.. Well Mike's team lost their game but I was able to meet Nate's best friend Elia! 

As you can tell it was freezing and snowing really bad at Mikes game.  Around 830 pm they decided to drive down to SLC Airport and fly up to Moscow from there.. I felt so bad for all of them because it was already late and they still had a ways to go.. well Once they got there... the coaches let them sleep in that day since they had the long night before.. They game went well.. We almost lost again but we ended the game with the score of 49-42 during 2 Overtime. We fumbled a ball on a kick return and the other team ran the ball to the 30... LAME.. and so they tied the game and that is why over time started.. During both overtime sessions, there were times where the game should of ended because we either stopped a pass or intercepted it but the Refs were stupid and kept calling everything back.. In the second over time Bobby Wagner caught an interception and Won the game for us!!! The refs weren't stupid on this and the didn't call it back hahaha 

Well the night goes on and on.. I was in Ogden at Sydneys house watching the game with her family.. I was going to leave ogden and head home when they left on the plane.. 1030pm rolls around and Nate calls and tells me that they can't get the plane to start again and they have to stay over night.. he wasn't sure if they were going to try and come home in the middle of the night or just leave in the morning so I left sydneys late and went home.. On my way home, my head light was out and I got pulled over.. Luckily my headlights are just stubborn and won't turn on sometimes So I flipped them a few times and the cop was way nice and let me go! I got home and fell asleep and they boys did not get home til about 11 am the next morning... What an eventful weekend! haha 

USU vs San Jose State

San Jose State came to us this year! The papers said the USU was supposed to beat them and that it was going to be snowing and blizzarding.. That morning, the sky looked so crappy and it snowed about a foot before the game started.. when we got to the game it was a little chilly but no snow.. and to the north we were starting to see blue skies and we were all hoping that it would get to us! It didn't snow at all during the game and it was nice and sunny..but after the game ended is when the bad weather started. well it was a super close game the whole way through. Our football team likes to give their fans a heart attack during every game and it is not too fun! Austin scored with 21 seconds left. Kennedy threw an amazing pass and Austin caught it and it was the winning touch down. San Jose was attempting to kick a field goal with 5 seconds left in the game.. 67 yards.. wow I know that that is pretty much impossible but it still had all of us watching through our fingers... Our guys BLOCKED the ball and it went no where and we won the game 34-33!!! It was a good game for our true fans to watch!

USU vs Hawaii

Sorry I am so behind on all my posts... USU was able to go over to Hawaii this year. They left on Thursday Morning and were able to have a ton of fun while getting used to the time change over there!

 They were able to go to the international market and bargain with everyone to get a bunch of way cool things,

 go to the beach, and just relax. 

On saturday, the day of the game, they got to sleep in and get focused for the game. For them, it was only 6pm but for us back at home, it was 10pm. We had a lot of amazing fans stay up and watch their AGGIES beat the Warriors. It was a very close game the whole time. Either we were up of they were up... Sadly enough, our True freshman Quarterback Chuckie Keeton, got hurt during the game. He was running the ball down and two of the Hawaii guys smashed him in between themselves. It doesn't sound that bad.. just a normal football tackle, except Chuckie's head was down and they squished his neck and he fell straight tot the ground and didn't move.. We all at home had no idea what was going on, or if he was even ok. The way that he hit his neck in the tackle made all of his limbs go numb I guess so he was not able to move at all and they had to take him out on a stretcher in the middle of the game. We were all so nervous for him, and also our Aggies! Luckily our back up Quarterback Adam Kennedy came in and WON the game for us! He did such an amazing job, that Coach A has not taken him out yet! Since we have put him in, we have won every game! 35-31 we won with few seconds left!
